The Office of Faculty Relations has responsibility in the hiring of full-time, visiting, fixed-term and adjunct faculty members, and for faculty compensation and contracts. The office is also involved with discipline and grievance issues. It promotes adherence to the tenets of the university’s sponsoring institution, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‐day Saints, as well as the university's mission statement, its policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws. It also provides a variety of services to assist in the resolution of employment‐related conflicts, disputes, complaints and inquiries in an independent and neutral environment.
